Transformers, or commonly called transformers, are electrical equipment that converts electrical energy into another form of electrical energy. The electrical voltage produced by the transformer is determined by the need for electrical energy. Transformers consist of coils of wire wound on an iron core. In addition, there are two types of coils: primary coils and secondary coils.

Trafo Bambang Djaja consist of 2 types, namely :

• Oil Distribution Transformer Bambang Djaja
  B&D oil distribution transformers or Trafo Oil B&D are transformers designed so that the oil has no contact with the outside air; either the entire tank is filled with oil or has a layer of N2 gas. Can also be equipped with a conservator as an oil reservoir to align the pressure in the tank. Available from voltages ranging from 3.3 kV to 40 kV with capacities up to 100MVA.
• Cast Resin Transformer Bambang Djaja
  B&D resin core transformers or Trafo Dry B&D, commonly known as dry type transformers. Insulation technology uses epoxy resin, which allows transformers to require less maintenance and better fire safety. Enclosures are available to be added to indoor or outdoor applications. If voltage changes are required, OLTC (on-load tap changer) taps up to 17 positions are available on request.
